By using Xyalent, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

•Account information: name, email address, phone number, and a password you choose when you register.
•Profile information: city, height, weight, athletic background, social media links, content creation experience, headshots, full-body photos, portfolio files, and any bio or details you choose to add.
•Verification information: government-issued ID and selfie data processed through Stripe Identity for age and identity verification, and background check information collected with your consent.
•Payment information: bank account or debit card details you provide through Stripe Connect to receive payouts. Xyalent does not store your full bank or card numbers — they are handled by Stripe.
•Gig and transaction information: shifts you book or bid on, applications, bookings, earnings, payouts, receipts, and messages exchanged with studios or other users.
•Usage and device information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and how you interact with the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

•To create and manage your account and verify your identity and age.
•To match you with gigs, process bookings and bids, and facilitate communication between creators and studios.
•To process payments, payouts, deposits, and withdrawals through Stripe, and to generate tax documents such as 1099-NEC forms.
•To conduct and review background checks where required before you are matched with certain employers or mature-content productions.
•To provide customer support, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms and community standards.
•To improve our services, analyze trends, and detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, security, or legal issues.

3. Age Requirement & Mature Content

•Xyalent is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We use identity verification to confirm your age before you can access certain features or content.
•Some gigs involve mature or adult content. Access to mature-content rosters and shifts is restricted to admin-approved creators who have completed identity and age verification.
•You must confirm your age and consent before accessing mature content. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

4. Background Checks

•With your consent, we may collect and review background check information to determine eligibility for certain gigs or employer pools.
•Background check results may include offense history and an admin-assigned classification that determines which employers you may be matched with.
•You may withdraw consent for a background check, but doing so may limit the gigs available to you.

5. Payment Processing

•Payments on Xyalent are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you connect a Stripe account, Stripe collects and processes your financial information under its own privacy policy.
•We receive limited information from Stripe, such as your account status and payout activity, to operate the platform and track transactions.
•Platform fees, early-payout fees, and other charges are disclosed before you confirm a transaction.

6. How We Share Your Information

•With studios and employers: when you book, bid, or apply for a gig, relevant profile and contact information is shared with that studio so they can review and confirm your booking.
•With service providers: we share information with vendors who help us operate (such as Stripe, Twilio, and identity-verification providers) under appropriate data-protection agreements.
•For legal reasons: we may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Xyalent, our users, or others.
•We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Retention

•We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services.
•We retain records such as transactions, identity-verification results, and background checks for as long as legally required, even after account deletion.
•You may request deletion of your account; certain records may be retained to comply with legal obligations or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

•We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information.
•No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
